Good Morning:
  While you are working out the intricacies of the CS put some plain, white 
sugar on the sores and cover with a bandage.  If the sugar becomes moist, sweep 
it off and put on some fresh.  Sugar is so "dead" that nothing will grow in it. 
 I have helped 3 other people with deep, deep puncture wounds (animal bites) 
heal with this method.  Good luck.
