This part really raises my level of concern.  

Since "conventional" antibiotics are everywhere (we get traces of them
in much of the food we eat, especially meats and dairy products), the
amount of silver being used isn't really a threat, comparatively.

But, this paragraph could be used by pharmaceutical companies as a way
of pushing the FDA to outlaw the use of silver in making CS (how
they'd do that for home use would be a good question).
