Hello:

I am new to the Silver List forum, but it may turn out be a great resource
for me, instead of just a chat room. I am an investigative journalist
preparing an in-depth magazine article on the FDA's suppression of CS.

For the record, I am an enthusiastic daily user of CS for three years, and
an advocate for its global availability.

I have a number of questions which need answering. Hopefully, members of the
forum will be able to answer my questions.

Whoever is most knowledgeable on the issues should address the questions.
Please provide certifiable facts, not generalities or hearsay.

1. I keep seeing references to CS killing 650 different bacteria. How
authentic is this number, and where does/did it originate?

2. I also see references to the Nebraska swimming pool CS test. Does
anyone have the facts on this? (Who, what, when, where?)

3. I also see references to the attempted suppression of CS in the 1960s.
Does anyone know the facts on this? (When, how, etc.)

4. I'm also looking for specifics on the use of CS to control dairy
mastitis,
and the FDA's ban of same. I have info about the ban, but not the actual
experimentation, and how effective it was.

I'm looking for documentation, source leads, net sites, etc. that will
provide the FACTUAL data I need. I can't go on hearsay, rumors, reports,
etc., unless they provide authentic information.

That's enough for today. I'll farm this out and see what response I get..

Thank you,

Bill Missett
