Yvonne: For stiff joints I had good results (over an 8 year period) giving my 
Newfy a combination buffered aspirin (usually 1 tablet a day) plus a 
prescription cortisone medication. However, I used about 1/20 of the amount 
stated on the perscription. For the other problem, try using Brooks Bradley's 
2 part Gatorade 1 part CS mix. He says it increases the CS absorption rate to 
that approaching an IV. Also, since the Gatorade is sweet, perhaps your dog 
will ingest more CS than he is now using DW. Roger
