Hi Paula,
From a purely dietary standpoint, your friend might try ommiting all grain
from the diet. Raw meat (not pork) including bones (or calcium supplement)
mixed with approximately 25% veggies (either pulped in a juicer with juice
added back; or lightly steamed) would be a better diet. Raw chicken necks
are great... they don't splinter, provide good chewing exercise, and have a
good meat/bone ratio for dogs.

Hi Saul or anyone else that might be able to help, my friendsdog ,a curly
coat retriever is very ill with what the vet has diagnosed as prostate
problems, he has had a shot of Tardac a hormone to help shrink the problem
but he is still trying to purge,this has been since sunday.She has him on
zinc, bio zinc ,nux vomica flax seed and olive oil,Chris [his owner]doesnt
want to have him neutered if it is at all possible not to do so ,I was
hoping you good people out there could give some urgently needed advise . I
can make colloidal silver for her if needed ,but dont know what amounts or
how often etc that it should be administered,if it would help.Thanks in
advancePaula Ps He is fed rice and grated veggies and a small amount of
raw meat .
