Listers I know this is sorta weird but it's on the up and up...something I'm involved in personally. I thought that maybe someone out there would be trusting enough to help out.
We're developing a card reader that checks date of birth on drivers licences to be used in convenience stores and bars etc to make it harder for kids to buy alchohol and tobacco etc. The only thing left to do is to make sure the programming works on all drivers licences from states that have magnetic stripes on them [the black strip on the back] We have most of the states down [they sent us samples] but lack Colorado, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Louisiana, Texas and Wisconsin. Some states are very secretive...and that's cool, but... So, the question is: Is it possible for you to send me your, or any drivers licence? [or an expired one as long as the magnetic stripe is on it] We only need it for about 5 seconds and you could send it "overnight". We'll send it back overnight express the same day along with full reimbursement of expenses, a generous consideration for your time AND a copy of what that black thing actually says. No information will be kept. NC doesn't use it. There's a definite probablility of a really good paying occupation here. Imagine selling a convenience store chain and making 5 to 10,000 on that one sale.
