It is certainly worth a try.  MOST bacteria are killed by CS, so it would likely
help, perhaps even cure it.  But we do know that a few bacteria are apparently
partially or completely immune to the effects of silver, and some bacteria are 
able
to hide in places where CS does not reach, so I cannot say it would help for 
sure,
until I at least hear from someone who has tried it and determined it's effect.
