Yes, you heard right. The original generator I got was the 3 ...9 volt
batteries. I have dozens of batteries around so I was soon using 75 VDC
and often I series 2 each 12 volt batteries with the 27 Volt generator.
Now.... I have made a few of these phone line generators. The voltage is
typically 52 VDC.
Why not? The hardware is minimal. Actually, you could do it with only
two junk pieces of wire.
It is neater to use plugs and add the LED and resistor to one of the
square surface type terminal blocks.
How can one get any simpler and cheaper?
