Hi Eleanor, The best steam distilled water (and the only ones) that I found in the Montreal area, is at the drug store "Pharmaprix". Trade name: "Life". The price is $1.57 Canadian. This one reads 1.8 u/S or less.
There is also one sold by Wall-Mart, but I do not use it, Trade name: "Echo Springs". This one reads around 7.6 u/S. Approx. the same price. The Pharmaprix one is much better.
