Ole Bob, Just as well to be aware that if brass or copper electrodes are left suspended in the water WITHOUT the power connected, that silver ions in the solution will plate out onto the brass or copper electrode and release copper or zinc or any other metal ions (which have a lower reduction potential) into the water.
