One of the constants of this online life we lead is we have to deal with greater diversity than we do in "meatspace." (As opposed to "cyberspace.") We either develop a thick skin and an unusual amount of sensitivity to the feelings of others or we face a uniformly dismal experience. Basically I've stopped shaking my head in wonder at the uncommon things people take an interest in. This doesn't mean I've abandoned my values, either. If anything, it means more reflection and dependence on my internal values in order to stay on course in the storm. This is not the place to live an unreflective life! Thanks for making the effort, Kevin. I'm glad you're here. Be well, Mike D.
