I raises my temperature a bit to see anyone try to scare anyone into buying [or not buying] something...especially when they go out of their way to invent an enemy.
It's distractive manipulation. [My own personal hobby 'beef']
Good God, people don't need to be told that they're ill. If they are, they know it already. Suggestion is a powerful tool. Many times I have told myself to slow down...but I needed a reason to do so. Got the flu every time! {Why do I need a reason to do what I want to, that only helps me and harms no one? To avoid feeling an imposed societal guilt...that I bought into.}
I would never suggest that someone will become ill if they don't do.....[whatever]
It is a human ability to manifest whatever conditions are required to justify any thought in such a way that 'they' cannot make the connection. Whether the thought is positive or negative is not a consideration. Both have their personal payoffs.
Personally, I believe that worrying about health is the biggest cause of sickness.
Be well. Don't worry. And don't worry about not worrying. :-)
It's amazing to see how many people feel guilty if various things don't disturb them and how many people will stoop to playing on that to make a sale...or prevent one.
Guilt and worry is useless. [Distracts energy into problems and away from solutions]
Remember this and be powerful: Feelings are a projective illusion. You design your own illusions and look to outside sources to confirm their validity. ANYTHING you look for can be found. ANYTHING you feel can be proven beyond your own doubt. You can even manifest that proof in both body and environment. {You project your feelings to gain validity for them from others}
It may in fact be something that one cannot not do. The function of the human mind and perceptions is to find patterns in chaos...to make finiteness out of infinity. This one thing may well actually create the universe that mind finds itself in and the vehicle that carries it through that universe. [Ever hear of spontaneous re-mission?]
It most certainly leads action within that universe. Nothing happens unless someone first thinks and believes the thought regardless of the source of validation that confirms the belief.
Who does yours?
Well...I do!
Believe in yourself. You can't help but to. It's something you can't not do. :-)
[How's that for a suggestion?]
The magic words:
Now, forgetting who/what I was told I was or who/what I should be, just who/what do I think I am Now? [Hint, there is no wrong answer..it's not a test]
Everything goes from that point on.
Few people know where or who they are...instead, focus on illusive 'reasons' to believe they are any particular place. No one can 'really' know where they're going.
So don't worry about it.
Besides, the concept of 'not knowing' symbolizes infinite opportunity to exceed any form of 'perceived' goal without having to pass under the goal posts. You can go beyond your wildest dreams.
The field itself changes with unopposed disbelief.

Hey Coyote... I didn't know you put the WHOLE FDA commentary online. Interesting reading, a good refresher!<<<<
For those interested, the entire FDA commentary from their September 1999 ruling on colloidal silver is here:

It is interesting reading. I particularly enjoyed the part about the FDA throwing out that MD's blind studies on CS efficacy as insufficient.
