Hi Michael, Now for an engineeri's opinion as to why ionic silver works. Most of us swish the CS in the mouth for several minutes to allow the ions to enter the blood stream similiar to what happens when they give a heart patient a nitro pill under the tongue.
I know, I know, I know, the "gurus" will say that the ions get clobbered in the blood stream, but in fact NO ONE really knows what happens in the body due to all of the enzymes and their reactions.
