I don't know how much you want to spend on this, but my mother had a matress pad with water that was pumped through it. I don't know what it was called, but it was supplied by Hospice. Mom never had a bedsore, of course my sisters and I took turns rubbing oil and lotions on her several times a day. This was before I knew about CS. I am sure that it would help heal the sores much faster and the mattress would keep her from getting new sores.
