Kevin brought up interesting considerations :

You are saying , I get the impression that long term CS ingestion is not a
problem because in moderate dosage it doesn't do very much! Gallons at a
time needed to wipe out the bugs. If so, that in itself is an issue. The
general line re CS efficacy has been that CS very efficiently smothers the
pathogen via enzymatic inactivation - killing it. You are suggesting that in
"normal" dosages (needs defining), it is merely replication that is
hindered, and the immune system does the killing. Correct? Then how much CS
would someone facing, say pulmonary anthrax, need to use for effective
results?

Response:

I believe that isolated silver is far more efficient at killing in the lungs
that taken orally, because the conditions are closer to a laboratory and
"external" setting. The dilution factor is far less significant. Even so,
let me describe two different personal experiences, and my conclusions based
on them ( of course, two experiences certainly don't qualify as definative
evidence!! ):

When I first built my oxygen nebulizer, I had a very small bronchial
infection, more of an annoyance than a real illness. However, using the CS
nebulizer twice in one hour eliminated the condition completely within three
hours.

The following winter, evidently I had an immune system breakdown. This was
probably due to poor diet, lack of sleep, and a great deal of stress. I
developed a lung condition that went from non-existant ( symptoms ) to
virtual debilitation in about four hours. By that evening, my lower lobes
had filled up with so much fluid that I could here myself jiggle when
walking. By the next morning, oxygen content to my bloodstream was so low
that it was exhausting to hold my arm up for more than about three seconds.

My immune system did not respond at all. No fever, no loss of appetite, no
coughing response, nothing. Based on my experience of the last 24 hours, I
considered myself a walking dead man. My oxygen bottle was empty, but I
somehow managed to drive down to a welding supply store and had it filled.
The only colloidal silver I had was a HORRENDOUS batch ( there is even a
picture of that exact batch on the website at the end of the "simple
generator" tutorial ) because I had previously filmed a 1.5 hour run with a
nine-volt battery setup so I could make a fast motion video and try to
determine the natural cycles involved in basic colloidal silver production.
I had added this with a batch I had forgotten about and let run two hours.
I added these two eight ounce batches with two eight ounces batches made
with a low voltage current controlled device.

When I finally used the nebulizer successfully, the results were dramatic
and nearly instant. This was not easily accomplished - in fact quite
painful. What I had considered a crisis situation was reduced to a very bad
chest cold with 30 minutes.

Within 24 hours, I was a fully functional being again, but still quite ill.
I was concerned because there was still no immune system response in my
body. I backed off of nebulizer usage to see how my body would respond. It
did not respond well, the condition began to slowly worsen. So, I used the
colloidal silver nebulizer between every five and fifteen minutes for three
hours straight. THAT evening, my immune system kicked in, and I began to
run a high grade fever, accompanied with the body aches and pains one would
expect. The fever rose and broke two to three times that night. The next
morning, the situation was much improved. It took an additional week to
clear everything and bring my body back to normal.

It is clear to me that far more colloidal silver is needed when the
colloidal silver must directly and independently deal with an illness that
is not being held in check by the immune system. One must realize, that if
the immune system is totally ineffective at dealing with a pathogan-derived
illness, one is not going to be alive for very long. THAT is what we have
when considering Anthrax and Smallpox. An infection will reach the
bloodstream and/or organs in short order.

Kevin writes:

Jason, from what you are saying , I get the impression that long term CS
ingestion is not a problem because in moderate dosage it doesn't do very
much...

Response:

I don't think it is quite fair to say "doesn't do very much". If you STOP
bacterial re-population, and the immune system is functioning properly, the
illness will be gone in very short order. If you eliminate only 1% of the
pathogens involved in an infection, and the immune system is functioning,
that this can easily be enough to "turn the tide" of the illness. It is
very hard to imagine that conditions in the body would ever permit more than
a 1:1 dilution of CS to "pathogen" anywhere outside of the stomach ( and of
course externally ). So what one in effect is doing is creating an
environment that is less hospitable to un-checked pathogen growth.

Again, I think the best evidence of how this works is considering the
intestinal tracts. Even large amounts of colloidal silver taken internally,
once the body has adjusted to colloidal silver use, hardly ever noticeably
hampers the bacterial balance in the intestines. Why? Because, again, we
are dealing in percentages, perhaps even very small percentages. But with
the body, these small percentages make all the difference in the world.

I don't think the issue with pulmonary anthrax is how much colloidal silver
one needs. I think the single defining factor between life and death is how
quickly one begins treatment. If one waits too long, I doubt, just like
with antibiotics, amount of CS used is going to be irrelevant. I tend to
lean toward every fifteen minutes for lung use. Even so, one ounce of
colloidal silver will go along way at ten breathes every fifteen minutes.
This is where "the people can have the power" so to speak. Rather than
running off to the hospital to sit in an emergency room for three hours
before a doctor, giving you half-a-glance, diagnoses you with the flu,
admits you for observation, later deciding maybe a culture should be done,
waiting another three to twelve hours for lab results to come back in....
If you're lucky.... You take that first hour and you hit your lungs hard.
( hopefully, you at this point have some experience using CS / nebulizer ).
You drink at least eight ounces of CS, and you bring a supply with you to
the hospital, and every five minutes you take a sip and let a constant
supply of CS enter the body.

Later you can debate for endless hours if it was the antibiotics or the
colloidal silver that managed to save your life. The point is, is you gave
yourself the maximum chance at survival based on current knowledge, and you
did it without limiting your options. You can let the doctors pat
themselves on the back for a job well done. Give them a pat yourself. It
makes everybody feel good. Send the nurses flowers.

We don't have any solid facts. We can only observe variables, and attempt
to isolate them. Why does colloidal silver for one person take a simple one
ounce dose three times in one hour to wipe out a sore throat within a few
hours, while another it can take up to twelve hours with three times the
amount of colloidal silver? Why, with some people, is one ounce daily
enough to support near perfect health for years on end, while others must
consume 8 to 16 ounces daily simply to maintain a state of health?

Perhaps it is wise to take a moment to be philosophical about it all. I've
been working on a conceptual translation of the Tao Te Ching for years...

"Reticence and the Way"
9 - 53
Fill not a vessel, lest it spill with movement.
You may temper a sword until it is razor sharp
But you cannot preserve the edge.
When gold and jade fill your spaces
You become unguardable.
Claim wealth and titles
And you bequeath misfortune upon yourself.
Rather, withdraw when your work is finished
For that IS the way of heaven.
