Hi there, folks: I'm in the process of acquiring all the little doodads for making CS with a home-grown unit with the batteries (thanks for posting the instructions, everybody!).
I got some wide-mouth, quart-size Mason jars for making and storing the CS. Is it okay to use the supplied jar lids with CS? They are made of metal. Would it be okay to store the CS in these jars, with the lids on, as long as the CS doesn't come in contact with the lids? I also found some blue jars in the local Wal-Mart tonight. Didn't buy one yet, though. These jars have a plastic lid. Would these be okay for storing the CS once it is made? Do I have to worry about the CS reacting with the blue colored glass? I got the impression that amber or brown glass was the preferred type of bottle for CS storage. I realize that these questions may sound foolish or weird, but I am a nervous newbie. Thanks in advance for all your helpful information. Pam __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Make a great connection at Yahoo!
