Hi Leo, Since CG is made with an arc under water, the form of gold used is critical. It must be in wire form either #12 or #14, so that only the tips are exposed to the water. Otherwise the arc will not sustain itself and no CG will be produced.
CS techniques DO NOT work for CG. You would do better to parallel the transformers. Do you know how to do this? If not do not attempt it without further instructions. Do you understand that transformers have polarity just like batteries??? connected wrong in series and you get zero voltage, connected wrong in parallel and they burn up!!
