No cite indicating contraindications due to negative interactions with other substances have been reported to this list; many researchers have poured over paper and electronic medical libraries. If they existed you would expect the FDA and other anti-what-works agents to be trumpeting the reports.
Some cases of allergy to handling silver have been reported; the ones I have seen were with jewelry alloy, not high purity silver. Most people believe first time users should start with tablespoon amounts to see what happens. If the person has a bacterial infection there is the possibility of toxins being released from the bacteria as the cell wall ruptures; symptoms briefly increase. This is called the Jarish-Herxheimer (sp?) reaction after the Docs who first studied it. It is commonly called "Herx reaction", or just plain "Herx". Studies in the past few years have linked previously unsuspected myocardial bacterial infections with heart problems. This was noted when people taking antimicrobal agents for other conditions had a reduced number of heart problems.
