Well, how kind!

But much as I would love to have managed to create such a useful
program, alas I did not.
Credit must go to our new friend 'herx', who has done a marvellous job
in its creation and presentation.

(Yes, we will see how accurate it is shortly, some adjustment will
need to be made for the silver which plates out on the cathode.)

To the conductivity measurement vs actual ppm... theory would have the
ppm (as ions) multiplied by 0.74 (or thereabouts) to give
corresponding conductivity in uS. In other words conductivity times
1.35 should give ppm (as ions). In reality the a factor of 1.0 works
in my case, and others report a factor of 0.85 - 1.05 times
conductivity to be a true representation of ionic concentration.

There has been to date, no satisfactory explanation as to why the
theory does not fit the facts, other than my own tentative idea that
the ions form aggregations of some number, that is multi-ion
particles, at particular concentrations. There is some support for
this in the literature, but it is all a bit academic, and sure to
rouse the Philistines among us to ban the messages that contain such
technical drivel ;-) <this could be considered humour given enough
leeway>
