The specific reference to colloidal silver as being 'ionic' is probably at
least partially inaccurate. At over 10-15 PPM, a lot of it will likely be
metallic. [If it shows a TE, there is metallic colloidal silver in
suspension present. VS..but along with.. ionic silver in solution]
So, the reference [exclusively] to 'ionic silver' throws some doubt on the
rest of the statements. The substance remains misdefined or, at least,
underdefined.

After following some of the links on Rosemarys site seeking to prove the
harmful effects of CS, [both ionic and metallic] I found studies to show
its safety instead .

One was study [on an EPA link I think] that showed that oral and even
inhaled silver 'dust' was 98% to 99% eliminated in 48 hours in rats and
mice and that monkeys excreted 94% within 48 hours. [Phalen&Morrow, 1973]

To date, I have yet to see an accumulation 'rate' table [by anyone] over a
set period of time that would indicate a maximum safe daily doseage [of
silver metal, ionic or not, regardless of amount of water] however
ridiculous an amount that would be.
...then take into consideration how much water that dose would involve at
some set PPM.

Considering the elimination rates, a statement such as 3 grams of silver
is harmless or harmful is completely worthless. It just says that one
shouldn't eat their electrodes in one sitting and not much else.

To say that the minimum dose to get argyria is 2.8 grams silver [or
whatever] says nothing about what it takes to reach that dose. Is that
silver retained over a period of time including 94% elimination per 2 days
...or is it a bullet? [use of language questions from reading an 'official
report', stated figures pulled from hat]

"An independent researcher analyzed silver elimination vs. silver consumed,
over a period of several months consuming roughly 2.34 mg of colloidal
silver daily. His results clearly demonstrated that even larger amounts of
colloidal silver used internally are WELL handled by the body's
elimination
system. This study will also be added to the database section of the
website, pending the author's approval. "

I'm unsure if the 2.34mg figure above is talking about CS 'water' at some
PPM [what PPM?] or if it refers to actual metal consumption by weight. The
two views would be radically different.
If it's the former, how much actual metal was consumed?
It should be phrased...2.34mg of pure silver in colloid sized particles
suspended in water...as CS is generally associated with water but "CS"
[colloidal silver] doesn't make that clear.
Or, some amount of water containing 'X' PPM by weight of pure silver
amounting to a total of 2.34mg of silver consumed per day over a period of
30 days with "Y" amount excreted per day resulting in a "Z" total remaining
in the body after that time period of 30 days. [Total in, total out and
total remaining within a time frame]
 ..something like that.

Both independent studies and professional reports are rife with deficient
data [no time frame mentioned etc and so on, or doses out of context, with
no context put forth] and confusing/incomplete use of terms.
It is important to be extremely specific in definitions and terms if the
'apples and oranges' syndrome is not to overtake these efforts like they
have the 'official' anti efforts.
