Hi Brooks.

I was very interested in your post concerning the treatment/prevention of
hip dysplasia in dogs. Your protocol listed,

"12 (50 mg) alfalfa tablets daily (or two heaping teaspoons of alfalfa
meal/powder), an initial course of CMO ( 3 to 6 capsules daily---depending
on total mass---for 10 days); a continuing protocol of glucosamine sulphate
(2000 mg daily), plus 1200 mg of some form of Chondroitin. Additionally,
one heaping teaspoon of Kelp (powder or granules) mixed into their food will
be a pronounced dietary asset."

For what sized dog were the above amounts effective? Do you have some kind
of per pound breakdown of the above protocol? I know many people who could
well gain from this information but with dogs ranging from toys to great
Danes some way of determining dosage would be essential.

Thanks for the post and any clarifications you can add.
