I am distilling my own water now and my first "brew" of CS has come out with a smokey appearanc.My voltage is 25 VDC from a special Xformer thru a bridge rectifier[not buffered with a capacitor].I start with 1ma[cheap multimeter from Radio Shack];when current reaches 1.5ma the brew seems to be done.This setup has worked well for me so far.Any thoughts on why the CS is smokey looking?
