Jack: You are the only one that responded to my request. For several months my distiller has produced 1.2 to 1.4 on the PWT. That gave me a final reading of 6.5 to 8.0 on the finished CS product at the 'medium' setting. Without ANY CHANGES the recent reading for the distilled water is 3.5 to 4.1. I haven't changed anything! It could be that the 'input' city water has changed and my 'prefilter' is not allowing for the change. But even with the change of 'readings', would the value of the silver water be the same? This put the reading from the PWT towards 9.5 and above for the CS. I don't want to trust that reading. I want a product that has been proven and trustworthy. Has my steam distiller gone bad? (It seems to function OK) I told my wife to get some 'steam distilled water' from Wal-Mart this evening.
