Well the fungus I'm trying to get rid of( if indeed it is a fungus ) has
been with me for at least 10 years, and it was merely curiosity that
got me started. I don't know what else would cause large "white" areas
under the nail - it doesn't hurt, nor is there an odor.

What I am currently trying is to wet a cotton ball with CS then hold it
in place with a Band Aid.I leave it on for most of the day, and periodically
rewet the cotton ball, then remove it early in the evening to let the nail
dry out before bed time. Then I'll skip a day then repeat.

I have the advantage of not having to leave home, so I can run around
without shoes or socks - fungus is happy in a moist environment.
Who wants happy fungus?
