safe unless you've been taking a lot of medications, recreation drugs, have
a bad liver or kidney ...

The best urine is from a baby boy which contains an abundance of growth
hormones.
Most (if not all) pharmaceutical urine comes form animals raised for that
reason and full of drugs - which are not considered.

How does that go ... what goes around comes around ... or garbage in ...
garbage out.

Isn't it the urea in pee that makes it beneficial?

    Gloves?

I worked on a trawler out of San Francisco for a few months. My hands
got pretty tough, but they were not wet for days at a time. No one told me
about the self-medication.

Another report of the benefits of topical pee. Other reports say it is
excellent for burns, including severe burns. I think the reports of systemic
benefits from PO consumption are probably true too, but I just haven't yet
gotten up to quaffing a nice warm foaming golden glass with breakfast.

When you think about it though, your own urine is a lot safer than a
raw oyster.

      Morning James,

Maybe it is not a pathogen, but an allergic reaction to fish stuff.
Do all workers get it, or only some of them?
Maybe it is not the fish but the water. Has anyone looked into that?

A lot of things are happening when one keeps his hands wet all the
time. The cell walls will weaken and break. Any bacteria has an open
door.

Bacteria cannot penetrate a healthy cell wall, or a dry cell. When
the skin stays wet for extended periods, natures defenses have been
destroyed.

If we had any old commercial fishermen on the list, they would have
chimed in by now.

While I have not lived the life of a commercial fisherman, I did in
fact work on a shrimp boat one summer. The guys I was working with had
many years experience and wisdom to draw from.

We did in fact have trouble with our hands from time to time. Of
course the salt water was more harsh and toxic than fresh water.

This does not necessarily mean more bacterial per cu cm.

The only solution was to toughen the hands as much as possible and
allow them to dry at frequent intervals.

There was one other solution that was recommended and had proven
itself over the years to toughen the hands and make them more resistant to
infection.

The treatment was cheap, effective, and readily available.

Everyone ready for this.......... Urinate on the hands several times
per day.

        Wayne
