Akshully, we're talking about a very tiny amount of contaminants,
especially if you're wanting to filter colloidal/ionic silver for some
reason.  Worrying about what a filter contributes to CS isn't worth
anyone's time, IMO.  Having some concern (but not too much) about the
purity of the distilled water used in making CS is okay, because the
electro-process could cause any contaminants to combine with the
silver -- but even that's not very important at the concentrations
normally produced by the CS generators.

Think about it.  The normal water most people drink has hundreds to
thousands of ppm of various chemicals in it.  A few ppm of almost
anything added to CS isn't going to do much, even if you drank only CS
instead of tap water.
