THANKS to Ivan for quite an education here!

As for me, I was quite impressed by the fact that University of New
Mexico -- which in September was named as America's major
government-supported center for bioterrorism research -- was willing to
accept a lecture by a manufacturer of beta-glucan. UNM is connected to
Sandia National Labs, which of course is a heavyweight research center
for all sorts of things. If not for the UNM/Sandia interest, I would
not have had much interest, and might never even have heard of the
stuff.

Since then I have found that 1,3 BC is often used here in Japan in
conjunction with cancer therapy. I do not know how effective it is in
this regard. The UNM research showed survival rates of
anthrax-infected rats going from 20 (untreated) to 80 percent (given the
BC.) The survival rate was enhanced also by continuous therapeutic
dosing before exposure, suggesting that in a high-level threat
environment, this might be something to take as a daily nutraceutical
prophylactic against a range of potential bioterrorism agents.

1,3 BC is affordable, at least for me. BTW, please post a link to your
site if you are selling the product, Ivan; I think it would be
acceptable in light of the current postings. Alternatively, contact me
directly, please.
