Hi Denise, While I never would have thought of a penlight laser, I did buy a couple of laser devices from a guy in Canada who sells them on e-bay. They pulse on their own. I don't use the single light much but I do use the multiple on my neck pain. There are also lasers used in acupuncture practices. Kit
