Hello Ode,

This just occurred; DMSO is a by product of the wood industry.  Does that
mean paper mills? If so, should we be concerned about the possibility of
dioxin contamination. 

Can anyone  offer some info?

   I believe that all DMSO is sold as a solvent in order to get around FDA 
restrictions.
I wouldn't hesitate..don't hesitate..to suck up oxygen from my welding 
tanks. It's gotta be purer than city air.
  I do try to remember to turn the acetylene off though.
