MessageI recall somewhere on this list a description of MSM as "organic
sulfur," or derived from same.

MSM, methyl sulfonyl methane is a relative of DMSO. MSM is believed by many
people to help skin, connective tissue and joints and provide sulfur as a
nutrient. My lower back has been significantly better since I began taking it
several years ago. Chuck says it is an effective pain relief agent, if taken
in fairly large doses and frequently. I don't recall the dosage. It is
essentially less toxic than water so too much is just a waste. I take about
one rounded teaspoon daily; or a couple of tablespoons if I have a sprain or
strain. It does not have the transport properties of DMSO. It does not make
you smell like rotten garlic as DMSO does.

It is used extensively in sports medicine for sprains and such. It is one of
those things that the sickness establishment would prefer we did not know
about.

It is said to vacillate the transport of material through the cell wall. I
saw a recent post here that said it especially helps get stuff out of the cell.
Mixed with CS and lactated Ringers solution, and taken orally it causes a 4x
increase in absorption and appearance in the blood.

Add it to CS until no more will dissolve, and pour off the liquid. Spray
anywhere on anything. CS/MSM is amazing on burns. Keep it cool. It is not
stable at temperature approaching 100 F.

I don't know how to make it. You can buy it at health food stores at
inflated prices or go to the local large animal supplies store and buy it for
about $5 US per pound. It tastes as bad as cat piss smells.

For technical information on the subject search MSM, its full name, "Dr.
Stanley Jacobs" or "DMSO".

I would not use the word "cure" but I have seen it go away when sprayed.
I suspect saturating the CS with MSM will improve the effect. By mouth
probably helps.
