You might also note that there are 585 pages of 100 messages each in 
the web archives at e-scribe. That makes something like 58,500 messages 
since April 1997 when I joined and started saving them. 

My local copies were the basis for the web archive when it was
established in late 1999.

The upside is, there's a *LOT* of info in there! The downside, of 
course, is there is *SO* much info it can be hard to dig it out.
