I'd wash his ears out twice daily with a damp sponge drenched with CS, the more the better, the quicker he'll heal. NOW!! ----- Original Message ----- From: budicea...@aol.com To: silver-list@eskimo.com Sent: Friday, May 16, 2003 11:10 AM Subject: CS>My Bearded Collie Dog with ear infection.
I discovered your web site after reading "its For The Animals" and have rushed out to buy some CS this pm. My 6 year old dog has had progressive ear problems since Feb. 2002 and has been treated by the vet with antibiotics to such an extent that he is sensitive to them all now. He has had his ears syringed 3 times, x-rays taken and a whole list of antibiotics given orally and by injection. The state he is in now is unbelievable. Both ears are running with a smelly green discharge - inside the earflap there are open weeping sores, which are burning red hot. Three months ago I took him to a homeopathic vet who has been treating him with Selicia, Rhus Tox, Gaertner, Acid Nit, Sepia, all making no improvement. I am desperate to find something that will cure his problem. He used to be such a fun dog, and is a great companion, but now he lays all day with his head in his paws, not interested in anything at all! I gave him 5ml orally and put 5ml in each ear. The CS I bought is 10-12ppm from a local health food shop. My dog weighs about 28kg. How often should I repeat the dose? Any replies and help will be most welcome asap.
