If you buy EMX Ceramics from EMTrading, you will find that the balance of bacteria in your tank will be perfect. I have seen this with my own eyes. These ceramics have unusual properties which I do not fully understand.
I do not sell them or get a profit from sales of them. I use ceramics in my own drinking water. The effect is very interesting; I definitely feel the difference.
