Dear Andy,
Being something of a "pansy" myself (slang for Physical Coward) I
understand your reaction. However, having undergone repeated, bladder
mouth, dilations at the hands of "oil-field ruffian" M.D.s some 35 years
ago (they were using Size 28 Van Buren curves---slightly smaller than
the index finger in diameter)----the prospect of a modern-day urethral
catheter is a walk in the park.
Although Dr. Jacob limited himself to his comment about the singular
employment of DMSO in his protocol....I am confident the reason he did
not even contemplate referring to including CS.....was because his plate
of controversy with the FDA, has been overflowing for the past 25 years.
He is quite aware of the germicidal qualities of colloidal silver, and
left to his own "unthreatened" devices....would most probably have
included such a modification.

Hi Brooks,
Excellent article except for the following sentence:
"For inserting the catheter, Dr. Jacob suggests using lidocaine or K-Y
Jelly."
It made me cross my legs, get up and leave the room. Now I am trying to
think about other things to take my mind off of it.
Best wishes,
Andy (^_^)
