Mike, I have cross checked my spect and procedures with four other people and the results are accurate. I have used 16 boxes of Hach chemicals with 50 tests per box, that makes over 800 tests !!!! I can look at the color of the test sample and guess the concentration to within +/- 3 ppm. Every test has a blank prepared from the sample taken from the is to be measured.
All of these elaborate calculations do not impress me. I measure ions. The results are as I said!!!! My spec is calibrated with a certified standard. Salt is subjective, the spect. gives numbers based on the transmission of light. I will do a test for free if you will send my a sample of your product!!! In regards to NO3, water has a great affinity for nitrogen gas, nd I have found NO3 in a number of CS samples. "Ole Bob" -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver.
