Looking more carefully at your setup, I see you have a natural fill point 
at the first thread of the jar. This looks like a good spot. Meaure the 
quantity of water needed to reach this point. 

Later, you can use it for Coulomb calculations to estimate the ppm. Then 
you won't need the Hanna PWT, which is expensive, and can reply on timing 
the run.

Once you get the system set up, you will find it very repeatable.
