Dear Debbie,
You may be assured DMSO is the pre-emient (or one among a very few)
entrainer/transporter of a wide variety of soluble chemicals. There
are, essentially, hundreds of repeatable tests which reinforce this
evidence. Your veterinarian may be outstanding in his field, but I fear
he is "out-of-his-depth" in the chemistry of DMSO.....if, in fact, he
made such a blanket statement.
If he can, indeed, produce repeatable results confirming the statement
you relate.....he will have, in one fell swoop-----have dislodged some
of the work of several Nobel nominees.
This will be my only comment on this subject. It does not merit
adversarial engagement.
Sincerely, Brooks Bradley.

Well, guess what---spelling sometime counts:
"...The reason garlic is so toxic, the sulphone hydroxyl ion
penetrates the blood-brain barrier, just like DMSO,
and is a specific poison for higher-life forms and brain cells."

What does DMSO do to the brain. I have a horse on IV DMSO and have had
to breath it, I cover my nose and mouth with a towel now . Is anything
antidotal? The vet said it is not a carrier per se, said that was
disproven?? Deb
