Distilled water can leech minerals out of your body if you use it too much. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, July 11, 2003 8:25 AM Subject: Re: CS>hope not a dead horse,,
I've read several book that dispute that fact. As always, there are 2 sides to the story. I'm 31 years old and have been drinking water from an RO (reverse osmosis) since I was 15. I would never and will never use tap. I live in Waterford , MI and we have 17 community wells here. They add Fluoride and several chemicals to produce Chlorine (here in Waterford, they don't just add chlorine, they use several 'lovely' by-products-put it in the water and it actually produces chlorine) then not to mention all the run off goes into our water supply. So...my water has a lot of garbage in it. Now, my OR removes all that stuff including all the good minerals. Dead water? Hardly-I'd rather drink 'clean' water then put all that other junk into my system, especially since I'm composed of 80-90% H2O. Now how do you get minerals? Take a high quality mineral supplement, like an amino acid chelate. I had a stomach surgery back in May of 1990 that requires me to get a full blood work yearly (first five years-it was every 6 months). I get everything tested (this blood work would cost me $600+ if I didn't have insurance) and have NEVER had any problems with mineral shortages. I do have low iron which is a direct result of the surgery. So I'm living proof that distilled water is not going to hurt you. My Dr (D.O.) has always been so impressed with my blood work (except for the iron). So, do your own research on the water where you live. I bet you'd be shocked on what's in it. -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver.
