<I'm so pleased to hear that "wolfie" is doing well. You will have to give us a complete rundown on his condition and what you did to improve it......>
well the vet sent him home to say goodbye, he was sure we would have to put him to sleep in a day or two. his kidneys were shutting down. he sent him home with antibiotics, and prednisone. i got on-line and found CS for animals site. so i started him immediately. he improved rapidly. the vet called in 2 days and i told him he had improved. so i continued his meds, and the CS. well he is taking prednisone for pain and inflamation, robaxin for spasms, ltryroxine for thyroid, pro-in for incontence, elavil for sleep and depression, and CS. the last test shows he is low-normal in his kidneys. he is a happy boy. he has a doggie wheelchair coming this week or next ;) his diagnosis is DM which is a muscular dystropy in dogs, low-thyroid and his kidneys want to quit. so far it looks as tho he is improving and will be with me for a while ;) also, he had chronic loose bowels with mucus, that has not been seen in many months, since we started the CS. but i am going to start him on yogurt too. and he has been on a good senior diet since feb, called Canadiae Platum for seniors, it has everything in it, including cranberry! i have no $$$$ interest in these products. anymore questions, no problem. wolfie's happy mom, melody harris 29 palms, ca
