Thanks, Reid,

I hope I can help my friend and his wife. They give her 3-6 months if
she has her entire stomach removed, and then a 50% chance of making the
five year mark after that. More likely two years, they say.

Grim.

My friend is very, very open to alternatives. I advised him to send full
details to the experts at altcancer.com; I am confident they will
provide him with voluminous, well-documented, and, astonishingly, free
advice. They are good people, methinks. I urged him to do that first,
and then draw his own conclusions.

He is much in favor of the surgery -- total removal -- and has done his
own research which leads him to believe it is best; I hope he is right.
His wife is on conventional chemotherapy now.

One can do only so much, as their are so many concerned parties, from
the MDs to the in-laws. I do hope that the alternative methods help
this woman after the surgery and chemo have ended. I will mention the
CS now, and make it for my friend if he is interested. Question is
whether the MDs will allow it . . . .

Thanks again to you and all who replied.

JBB
