Actually Ethylene glycol is the most common antifreeze. It is extremely
toxic, and if pets drink it will be killed.

Propolyne Glycol is the "Environmentally Safe" antifreeze.  It cost a little
more but if pets drink it they will likely get sick, but not die.  It is
still toxic, but much less so than the standard antifreeze.
