Why not? It is consistant with all the research I have read on it. Aspertame
tends to cause weight increase.  It is an excitotoxin that increases one's
hunger and appitite.  So when drinking diet drinks, I ate more. Once I stopped
drinking them, the additional calories of the soda were less than the
additional food it was making me eat. This is a known fact that research has
proven out several times.  This is one reason I never have understood why
people want to drink something that for most will add weight.
