I've tried LVDC and the gold just sits there without ever tarnishing or showing any change. Only success I had was using an NST and arcing underwater. With LVDC the conductivity of the DW never increased nor did the color change which should be the indication of electrolysis doing something. As far as I'm concerned anyone who says they can make it with LVDC would have to prove it by showing me a lab report.
