The problem here is that there are too many ways to do it and many many refinements to each and every way.
Tell us more about what you want to accomplish and what you have to work with.
The more specific the question, the more likely a reply.

Just asking 'How do I make CS"? is 'sorta' like asking, "How do I create a planet and all it's life forms".
Well, OK, what sort of planet? Do you want a nitrogen atmosphere or an oxygen atmosphere? Little grey people in flying saucers or trilobites?

Some people have been working on it, literally for years and still see room for improvement.
Others just zap a glass of water and slug down whatever happens.

A good start is a search of the archives.
LVDC generator, simple, 3 nines, telephone generator, plans, constant voltage, constant current, schematics.... are good starting key words
HVAC is a whole 'nother universe.

Understanding what you're doing starts with the doing part. Don't be afraid to do it wrong..you'll know if you did..it'll look like crud.
Doing it "right", is a progression with an undefined word..that word being... "right".
In between, there are huge amounts of "useful"

So pick something and start.

...or buy a generator that incorporates all the work we've been doing.
Some people who do that come up with their own versions and modifications that suit their specific needs better, later on.

Hi!
I see a LOT of discussion about the profundities of CS,
but
I did NOT find anywhere
HOW to proceed to make one's own.
I am new in town.
I am interested.
Can anyone help me to the right instructions as to how to make my own CS?
I am a teacher, I am not a chemist.
Hope to hear,
Faith
