Do they pass through whole or are they completely chewed up?
(Your task, should you choose to accept it, will be to dig through
guinea pig turds looking for apple pips... Sorry ;-))

Hmm, my 29 guinea pigs eat whole apples almost every day.
So far, the cyanide in the pips hasn`t harmed them.
