And Nick points out the basic strategy for using CS... Dose for effect. If you've never taken any kind of silver preparation before, or if you've ever shown signs of sensitivity or allergy to silver, start with a really small amount, say a few drops on the tongue, in order to be sure you're not going to blow up with a massive allergic reaction. Once a few hours have passed without your tongue swelling or a trip to the emergency room for the treatment of shock, then try a teaspoonful, then work up steadily to whatever amounts are required to generate some symptoms. Then cut back until you're comfortable. How much will it be? That will depend on the quality and concentration of the CS you make or are buying, the nature of the condition you're treating, and whatever variations there are between individuals. I always chuckle a little when I read of people's success with spoonfuls, since I've never gotten near my CS with a spoon, usually measuring in glugs, or slugs, or glassfuls. But I don't knock it, since everyone is different, and CS varies all over the map. If you're making low concentrations (a few ppm) of high ionic stuff (using current limiting, stirring, and other methods) don't be surprised to use several ounces per day or more for something acute. Just, as before, start slow and dose for effect. Hope that helps. Mike D.
