I use cayenne powder on my cuts and scrapes. I have used it many, many times on my dogs when they get into a scrap. It produces an immediate scab, which is very tough. One of my guys got a cut on his ear about half an inch long. The cayenne stopped the bleeding and the scab was so that I could press the ear back together. You can't tell where the tear was at all now. It also sterilizes the would. I understand in the old west that those unlucky enough to be shot pressed the pepper powder into the wound, to stop bleeding and sterilize it. Most of this from Dr. Schultze. But I use it extensively. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, December 14, 2003 8:43 PM Subject: Re: CS>Stopping bleeding
