Distilled water is a likely diluent for the formula. Although it does
not state if the ingredients are by weight or by volume. DMSO is a
liquid so I would assume that one is by volume. Since Vit C and
Glutathione are solids then he could mean by weight. Why not call the
pharmacy and ask for more information?

Improved vision is a known effect of DMSO use, even when not applying it
to the eyes. There are some reports of DMSO in treating cataracts,
retinitis pigmentosa and macular degeneration summarized with original
citations on p 68 of the updated (1993) edition of "DMSO Nature's
Healer" by Dr Morton Walker. The reports on cataracts used DMSO and
Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) or DMSO alone directly in the eye. You may
want to contact www.dmso.org for more information on DMSO use.

Glutathione and SOD are both powerful antioxidants so there is some
similarity of formulas. Vit C is an antioxidant as well.

If I were playing around with Vit C in my eyes I would not use Ascorbic
acid unless you have some way to buffer the solution, you want to keep
the pH close to neutral. Or test a buffered form of Vit C like Calcium
Ascorbate.

The book is available from Amazon.

PS- Here is the address of a DMSO list I started recently if you would
like to join us. Hope you don't mind my forwarding this to the list.
