Have you tried any betaine Hcl with pepsin. Most of us baby boomers don't produce enough Hcl for digestion. You also need Hcl for other process in the body.

Hi Wayne. This caught my attention. I have digestive problems -- oh boy, do
I have digestive problems. If I don't eat, I have gas and serious belching
and feel sick to my stomach. If I do eat, ditto except I'm not nauseated. The gas and belching can be accompanied by acid reflux. What I eat doesn't seem to make any difference -- everything makes me sick. The only thing that seems to help is antacids. Living on them isn't a good lifestyle, so I try to get along without them. Feel like I ought to see a doctor but that would mean a lot of expensive tests and in the end they'll probably want to put me on a drug that does about the same job as the antacids. I have tried probiotics in the
past -- well, what I've tried is yogurt and guess what? It gave me acid
stomach. I'm wondering about the enzymes -- I don't know much about that. Can you point me in the right direction? I'm sure tired of living this way. By the
way -- other than the digestive problem, I'm a pretty healthy individual --
58 years old, in pretty good weight and shape, very active physically, I think my only other health problems are slightly elevated cholesterol and tinnitus.
FWIW. Any help will be appreciated. MA
