I can think of a few legitimate reasons. The cost of insurance, setting
up a lab that meets commercial production requirements in their state
and FDA requirements for a supplement production facility. Advertising,
cost of setting up an e commerce web site and maintenance, loss due to
credit card fraud (Versi Sign does not protect them), employee costs
including theft...

The home producer does not bear any of these costs to make their own.

I bought a $200 SilverGen SG6 and a $99 counter top water distiller from
www.wholesalewaterdistillers.com

My investment has already been returned ten fold in three months. I use
it on my family of there humans, two dogs, four horses and 7 cats. Not
to mention the house plants and plans to use it in my container garden
this spring. I put it on my herbs that I grow so I receive some of that
back when I eat them.

Don't spend your money purchasing CS. Even if you do not like the
generator you buy or find that you do not use it you can easily resell
it on the CS lists.
